School of Ancestral Wisdom

After several years of walking and being in search of supporting our Wise Elders, Tambora Foundation has managed to start the School of Ancestral Wisdom with the intention of connecting the modern world with knowledge and ancestral practices. This year we start the first cycle of meetings with knowledgeable people which will take place on the first and second Thursday of each month.

Rebuilding a "Cusmuy"
Sacred Temple in the Andes of Colombia

We Did it!Once again thanks to the community and via Crowdfunding and fundraising event, we managed to gather the funds to be able to rebuild a sacred "Cusmuy" or House of Thought where indigenous teachings are passed and traditional medicines are prepared.
Many volunteers helped and showed us all that it is possible! Now we are ready to embark on the rebuilding of many more Malokas (another name for Cusmuy) to asure the preservation of the ancestral wisdom for the future generations in Colombia! |
